Low Cost Camping in Northern Queensland

In this episode, we begin our journey up the Northern Queensland coast and quickly discover that free and low-cost camping spots are quite rare! However, we stumble upon some hidden gems that offer fantastic free and affordable camping experiences. We start at Burpengary East, staying at the Wescloud Lodge Farm Stay, a budget-friendly campsite right on the doorstep of the Sunshine Coast. Our next stop is Tiaro Memorial Park in Tiaro, an excellent free camp for travelers heading north. Our final stop is the Wyper Park Scout Camp, a charming low-cost bush camp near Bundaberg. Continuing north from Bundaberg, we reach Charter Towers and find several great free camps. Unfortunately, due to the Queensland long weekend, many free campsites are full, and we spend the night in a caravan park. Enjoy! 😊
