Not using a proper non-silicone based mold release can result in mold tear out (a void or divot on the surface of the mold) which can really put a kink in your day. Luckily, there is hope! Simply grab some 100% pure silicone caulk (not acrylic latex caulk!), a hobby knife/putty knife/or razor blade and repair your mold with ease.
