WW2 - Interviewing local Muslim men who served in WW2

During WW2 2.5 million men from what is today India, Pakistan and Bangladesh volunteered to fight alongside Britain and the Allies. In 2008 a group of school children saw some local Muslim men, ex-servicemen from WW2, marching in Blackburn's Remembrance Day Parade. They decided to set about researching and filming a documentary about these men and their stories. The project took three years to complete, and when it was completed, they discovered that they were the first people in Britain to have filmed interviews with frontline Muslim servicemen like these.
