I was dining at a restaurant on 72nd Street to prepare for the Manhattanhenge sunset when I saw notifications on my phone and decided to walk from 72nd Street to 42nd Street - Times Square via Broadway. The subways were dark and Times Square billboards were not turned on. In the end I just got to 42nd Street in time to see the sunset for Manhattanhenge. It was truly incredible to see. This occurred on the 42nd anniversary of the 1977 Blackout. Crazy!
