Contradicting all major exit polls, a survey by Kannada media outlet Eedina has predicted that the BJP will suffer a loss in Karnataka in the 2024 Lok Sabha Elections. According to the survey, which involved nearly 1,50,000 respondents, the INDIA bloc is likely to win between 13 and 17 seats in Karnataka, with the remaining seats being shared between the BJP and JD(S). Karnataka has a total of 28 Lok Sabha seats with BJP contesting on 25 seats and JD(S) contesting on 3 seats. TNM's Pooja Prasanna speaks to Dr Vasu, project head of Eedina Survey, who challenges not just the numbers predicted by many major exit polls for Karnataka, but also the methodology that these polls have employed.
