Thanks in advance for your support! https://www.buymeacoffee.com/johneastep A quick note on new equipment...As I mention in the video, I have acquired some new gear for an eventual change to Nikon! I've been a Pentax shooter since I started 20 years ago so the change is bitter sweet! As much of a bad rap as Pentax gets, they are some of the most reliable and robust cameras out there, especially for landscape work. However, over the Summer I was doing more "run and gun" type work so I needed something reliable and fast! As good as the Pentax K1 is for landscape work, it is not a particularly fast camera. So without breaking the bank, I decided to pick up a "new to me" Nikon D500 and the start of the transition to Nikon glass with the purchase of a 24-70 2.8 G lens! I was curious as to how the new glass looks in the landscape setting and so far I'm impressed. The D500 is a 20.9 megapixel camera with an aps-c sensor so not something I will want to continue to use for landscape work due to the lower megapixel count and smaller sensor however, for now, it will work if I want to shoot in the 24-70 focal length! During the video when I reveal my settings, the symbols you see above are the main programs I use to process my images. They are Lightroom Classic, Photoshop and Luminar Ai respectively.
