What a special blessing it is to have Sr. Gaudia give the talk for our Confirmation Class on Tuesday, February, 16th! In the talk, Sr. Gaudia explains how the Fall of Man in Genesis chapters 2-3 distorted God's original plan for humanity, hand how God's mercy triumphed over all of it on the Cross. This talk comes to us right before we enter the season of lent, a time of greater reflection over our sins we freely committed and how merciful God is, in spite of our betrayal, took on the Cross & gives us life through the Resurrection! "O happy fault, that earned so great, so glorious a Redeemer!" - Easter Exsultet . Sr. Gaudia Skass is a religious sister with the Congregation of the Sisters of Our Lady of Mercy (The same religious congregation St. Faustina entered & experienced the visions of Jesus!). Sr. Gaudia entered at their mother house in Warsaw, Poland and was assigned in the Divine Mercy Shrine convent in Krakow, Poland to assist the English & Spanish speaking visitors as well as organizing the 2016 World Youth Day in Krakow. Currently Sr. Gaudia resides in Washington DC, primarily serving at the Saint John Paul II National Shrine. #CatholicChurch #Confirmation #DivineMercy
