島根県隠岐諸島の西ノ島にある別府港へ入港して来る隠岐汽船のフェリー 「しらしま」です。 岸壁で撮影してると、フェリーが船首の車両搬入口を開口させながら迫り来るのでとても迫力がありました。岸壁の直前までかなり速度がありましたが、絶妙なタイミングの逆進操作でプロの技が際立った見事な接岸を見ることが出来ました。 全国各地で様々なフェリー船を見て来た経験がありますが、隠岐汽船は全国でも１～２位を争うほどの操船技術があると思います。また接岸後の作業も手早いので乗客をほとんど待たせずロスタイムがとても短いです。隠岐汽船の皆さんの仕事ぶりはトップクラスだといつも感心させられます。 This is the Oki Kisen ferry "Shirashima" that arrives at Beppu Port on Nishinoshima in the Oki Islands, Shimane Prefecture in Japan. There was speed until just before the quay, but I was able to see a splendid berthing with outstanding professional skills due to the exquisite timing of the reverse operation. In addition, the work after berthing is quick, so there is almost no waiting for passengers and the loss time is very short.
