Southern Albania boasts a variety of stunning touristic destinations. The ancient city of Butrint, a UNESCO World Heritage site, offers a glimpse into the region's rich history with its well-preserved ruins. Gjirokastër, another UNESCO site, is famed for its Ottoman-era architecture and the imposing Gjirokastër Fortress.
