Stealth Onewind hammock camp.

I have recently returned to wild camping after a 6 year hiatus. In this time, 1 had two wonderful children, and I LOVE being a dad. My children and my wife are everything to me. My hobby went on the back burner. The kit all got put away in the loft, and 1 got on with the task in hand. I thought about getting back out, but there were always jobs to do, errands to run, and someone else that needed me. The worry of not being with my family was crippling "what if something should happen? What if one of the children is ill in the night?" Etc. All of this coupled with the guilt of actively choosing to be away from the people that need me the most for my own selfish reasons meant that I would talk myself out of every camping trip that came up. However, I'm pleased to say the band aid has been ripped off. After some soul searching, open communications with my wife and children, and their support, I am enjoying nights in the great outdoors once more.
