ICELAND IN SEPTEMBER Driving the Ring Road in ONE WEEK TRAVEL VLOG (The ULTIMATE Iceland Road Trip)

This is the ULTIMATE Iceland road trip! We drive Iceland's Ring Road in one week and see it all including the Westfjords and the Icelandic Highlands! In this episode of Mapping It we drive around Iceland’s Ring Road! We only have 7 full days (and two partial days) to see as much of Iceland as we can. We start in Reykjavik and then move on to the Golden Circle. We trek into the Highlands to see some cool geothermal activity and make sure to stop for every waterfall we can! We visit the Snæfellsnes Peninsula and make a detour from the Ring Road to visit the Westfjords and Dynjandi waterfall. We spend a couple days exploring Northern Iceland and all the cool hikes, falls, and geothermal activity we can fit in. In Eastern Iceland, we make a pitstop in Seydisfjordur and drive through the East Fjords region on our way to the incredible South Coast of Iceland. We make stops at glacier lagoons, incredible canyons and black sand beaches. Finally, we wrap up our trip with a relaxing visit to the Blue Lagoon. It was a whirlwind, but it was so worth it!
