Re-creation of the D-Day invasion in Normandy, France on June 6, 1944. 75 years later, the event "Daks over Normandy" had gathered more than 30 C-47 aircrafts. Some of these aircrafts were also participating in D-Day. Flying from Duxford (England) to Caen (France), this huge formation flight is said to be the biggest meet up since World War II. During this 75th anniversary, paratroopers landed in Sannerville, Ranville and Sainte Mère Église, just like in 1944. Among the jumpers was even a 97-year old veteran!
