Just one step before entering dark ambient territory, "I talked With My Shadow" came to me four years ago as the soundtrack of a private conversation with my most intimate and profound part. This is the moment when usually something unexpected comes in the way, something that tends to stay with me for long after such conversation has ended. While editing this video I realized more and more what that idea projecting from far away wanted to communicate to me back then, and to me it is becoming clearer what I was trying to tell since the inception of this track. And in doing this I guess I somehow closed a circle. It's always fascinating and frightening to me how the mind works. Francisco López, internationally renowed audio researcher, sound-designer and ambient Maestro, chose this track to be included among others in his Audiosphere art exhibition, held from October 2020 to February 2021 at the Reina Sofia Museum in Madrid.
