Johnny Learns His Manners (1946, sound)

Description: A moralizing tale for children in which a little boy turns into a pig because of his slovenly manners, which he has cultivated out of fear of being called a sissy. His mother changes his mind by showing him a film of West Point cadets and football players as examples of non-sissies who nevertheless exhibit good manners and sportsmanship. From Educational Film Guide, 1948: "A narrated story, illustrated on an artist's drawing board, of a little boy who is turned into a pig until his Goodself conquers his Badself."
