We invited guitarist and composer Sarah Lipstate to Valentine Recording Studios in Los Angeles to demo the all-new Fender Vintera II '50s Jazzmaster electric guitar. A marvel of vintage sound and aesthetics, the Fender Vintera II '50s Jazzmaster pays homage to the original Fender Offset, originally released in 1958. Available in Sonic Blue, seen here, or Desert Sand, the Vintera II '50s Jazzmaster features an alder body, a late ’50s “C” profile maple neck with a slab rosewood fingerboard and dual ’50s-era single-coil Jazzmaster pickups. Known for her extensive use of effects pedals and bows, Lipstate performs and records as a solo artist under the moniker Noveller and is also the guitarist for Iggy Pop and the Free Band. Lipstate shares, “It’s kind of like having a vintage car but with a brand-new modern engine inside of it.
