In 2022, there are many ways to publish a book. You no longer have to try getting a book deal from a Big Five publisher or put in the work yourself via self publishing—you could also seek out a hybrid publisher. Hybrid publishing is a newer form of getting your book into the world, and recently a report came out from the Society of Authors and the Writers’ Guild of Great Britain highlighting the potential dangers of working with hybrid publishers.
