Steve Strong vs Jeff Gripley (June 21, 1986)

In May of 1986, a new force arrived in International Wrestling Montreal. His name was Sadistic Steve Strong and he took the territory by storm. Coming off a run in Stampede Wrestling in Calgary, he shot straight to the top by calling out Rick Martel. They feuded throughout the summer of 1986, providing quality action for the fans. This match features Strong squashing Pennsylvania-area wrestler Jeff Gripley. I've also included an interview with Strong that immediately follows the match. Commentary is provided by Milt Avruskin and Gino Brito, and was aired June 21, 1986. Enjoy!
