"Phony" from the Tetrisphere OST by Neil Voss, ported to SNES for use in Super Mario World romhacks. Download link: https://www.smwcentral.net/?p=section... The original track on N64 is 16 channels and in a format that isn't possible to convert to MIDI, so this track was required to be reassembled by hand rather than have the notes and rhythm ported over. Many samples were also cut down and optimized using things like clever looping points and the SNES sound chip's ADSR capabilities to simulate the full-length sample while saving RAM. Also notice that I tried to use channels 7 and 8 as little as possible, because Super Mario World SFX use those channels and I don't want them to cut any important samples out of the music. The total track, including samples and script, is ~44kb in size. It was ported using a scripting language called MML and an audio engine called AddMusicK, which allows custom music to be arranged and inserted into Super Mario World.
