Taylorsville Lake State Park Mt. Eden, Kentucky Taylorsville Lake State Park is a 1,200 acre state park located west of Lexington and south east of Louisville Kentucky. This park sits on just over 3,000 acres on Taylorsville Lake and it provides outdoor family fun filled activities like boating, camping, equestrian and hiking. Taylorsville Lake State Park campground is located close to the lake and has 45 spacious RV sites with electric and water, 10 sites for equestrian campers also with electric and water hookups and 15 primitive tent-only campsites. There is also group camping as well. The campsites are large and spread out with each having a table, fire ring and grill.
