As we drove into Louterwater, the light drizzle created a serene atmosphere, setting the mood for the journey ahead. It was evident that this small town was bustling with activity, as we watched numerous trucks and tractors making their way to their destinations with loads of apples and pears on their way to be weighed and processed. Our excitement peaked as we approached the Granor Passi plant where the fruit is weighed and processed. The line of vehicles waiting to offload their fruit seemed never-ending. It was incredible to witness the sheer number of trucks and tractors, and we couldn't help but feel lucky to have stumbled upon this very interesting sight. After this awesome experience, we continued to explore the town and stumbled upon another exciting find, the old station being converted into a guesthouse. The potential for this unique accommodation option was evident and we could already envision that the finished product will be a pretty place. It was undoubtedly an excellent prospect for future trips to Louterwater. Just around the corner from the old station, we discovered the Kontrei Kombuis, a quaint restaurant that quickly caught our attention. Overall, our trip to Louterwater was an unforgettable experience, filled with breathtaking scenery and exciting discoveries.
