2023 Moto Guzzi V100 Mandello S - 500 Mile Update - Houston, Texas (1080p)

Sunday, March 12, 2023 Rode out this morning with 275 miles on the odometer for my 2nd ride on the V100 Mandello.  Ended the day at 536 miles.  The quick shifter continues to get smoother.  The grips are fatter than what I’m used to.  That along with the tightly sprung throttle strained my hand after a few hours of riding.  The heated grips are not hot enough in 69 degree weather traveling at 80 mph.  Hopefully they feel warner in actual cold weather.  The windscreen at its highest setting along with the fins deployed help create a calm bubble for the rider to ride in comfort.  The exhaust continues to give me giggles with all the noises it makes.  This is the best sounding stock exhaust I’ve ever heard.  The Brembo brakes continue to prove their superiority.  I complained of butt discomfort from the seat on my first ride.  This time I felt no pain.  Could have been that I made many more stops today.  All the getting on and off may have helped refresh my butt.  😊 Lastly, the heaviness I mentioned from my first ride is not so bad.  I’m getting used to it.  Today was very windy.  So this heaviness helps keep it on track unlike my 2019 MV Agusta Brutale RC where I was getting knocked around yesterday on a similarly windy day.  Loving my Moto Guzzi “Tuono”!
