ANCA-associated GN: the Known and the Unknowns with Dr Andreas Kronbichler

Dr. Andreas Kronbichler is Assistant Professor at the Medical University Innsbruck and Visiting Researcher at the University of Cambridge. He has an interest in immune-mediated kidney diseases and is chair elect of the Immunonephrology Working Group (IWG) of the European Renal Association (ERA). He has published over 200 peer-reviewed articles, and focuses his research on optimizing outcome of patients with autoimmune kidney diseases. ​ Objectives:​ ​1. To understand the current role of plasma exchange (if any) and avacopan in the management of ANCA-GN. ​ 2. To understand common side effects, and strategies to mitigate them. ​ 3. To understand unmet needs in the therapy, especially controlling cardiovascular risk factors. ​ ​
