A YouTuber has spent a ton of money and several years trying to capture the exact guitar tone Kurt Cobain used on an album. In the interests of science and entertainment I kind of appreciate that. But unless you play in a Nirvana cover band or something, why would you want to or need to sound exactly like Kurt Cobain?
