Tanuki is a B&M Flying coaster built as an extra attraction on the site of the Tokyo SkyTree Tower, which is one of the tallest buildings in the world. Riders are put in the position of the tanuki, a mischievous flying mythological animal from old Japanese folklore. This coaster takes the record of tallest, at nearly 255 ft, or 77 m, and longest, at 5455 ft, or 1662 m, flying coaster. Riders fly at a speed of 62 mph, or 99 kph, inverting a total of six times throughout its layout consisting of airtime hills, rolls, and turns. This was my submission for the Tokyo SkyTree Contest held on No Limits Central. It received 4th place.
