In this TEDx Talk Konda Vishweshwar Reddy shares his experiences with some of the best innovations in the field of Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH). However, he found that most innovative designs had some local or cultural constraints. Combining his background in engineering with his experience as the Chairperson of the WASH legislators forum, Mr. Reddy is proposing a new model of dealing with human waste that will transcend economic, cultural boundries & stigma. A multi feed bio gas plant, that can solve multiple problems in a single solution - making villages sustainable, green and hygienic. Konda Vishweshwar Reddy is a Member of Parliament from Chevella Constituency, Telangana and the Chairperson of the WASH Legislators Forum. Before joining politics, Mr. Reddy was an engineer by profession, he has a Master’s degree in Engineering from the United States of America and worked as an adjunct faculty in the New Jersey Institute of Technology, N.J., Essex County College,Newark,U.S.A. Having returned from the USA, he worked as C.E.O. & Managing Director of Wipro Healthcare I.T.Ltd., and C.E.O. & Managing Director of GE Medical Systems Information Technology and was the Managing Director, Citadel Research and Solutions, Ltd.
