Milwaukee Ratchet Wrenches - Milwaukee’s Ratcheting Combination Wrenches offer a 2.5° of Arc Swing, using double-stacked pawls offering users 144 ratcheting positions. The open end has the familiar MAX BITE from the recently released combination wrenches. The ratchet wrenches also share the I-Beam handle design and ink-filled labeling with the combination wrenches. The 15pc sets come in trays designed for steel storage drawers and are reversed from the combination set so you can stack the metrics in the same drawer and the SAE in another and have the wrenches and labeling showing forward. The sets available are as follows: 48-22-9406 7pc Ratcheting Combination Wrench Set (SAE): 3/8”, 7/16”, 1/2", 9/16”, 5/8”, 11/16”, 3/4" 48-22-9506 7pc Ratcheting Combination Wrench Set (Metric): 8mm, 10mm, 12mm, 13mm, 14mm, 15mm, 17mm 48-22-9416 15pc Ratcheting Combination Wrench Set (SAE): 1/4”, 9/32”, 5/16”, 11/32”, 3/8”, 7/16”, 1/2", 9/16”, 5/8”, 11/16”, 3/4”, 13/16”, 7/8”, 15/16”, 1” 48-22-9516 15pc Ratcheting Combination Wrench Set (Metric): 8mm, 9mm, 10mm, 11mm, 12mm, 13mm, 14mm, 15mm, 16mm, 17mm, 18mm, 19mm, 20mm, 21mm, 22mm If you like the Milwaukee combination wrenches released last year, you will love the new ratchet wrenches! They have the same look and feel as the combination wrenches and offer a lot of quality that is backed by a lifetime guarantee. Wrench Features 2.5° of Arc Swing 144 Ratcheting Positions Durable Double-Stacked Pawls MAX BITE Open-End Grip Comfortable I-Beam Handle Design Ink-filled Size Labels Lifetime Guarantee Our Thoughts The first thing that we noticed when the ratchet wrenches were unpackaged was a label letting the user know what side was loosening. That is a nice, lean feature that helps us to orient the wrench by sight rather than by testing the direction of the ratchet. None of the other ratchet wrenches that we have in the shop have that style of labeling and we appreciate it. The ink filled markings are large and at both ends matching the style and colors of the combination wrenches. Use and comfort are very familiar since we have used the combination wrenches a lot since they were introduced. One thing that caught our attention was that the feel of the open end on one bolt felt loose compared to even the standard Milwaukee combination wrenches. That led us to get out the calipers and we found that many of the new ratchet wrenches are slightly larger than other wrenches that we have including the Milwaukee's in our toolbox. We are working on finding out whey these would have different tolerances and will add to this blog when we find out. No matter the slight difference in tolerances, these are still nice ratchet wrenches that we are glad to add to our arsenal of tools.
