Hey there, it's Jamie! Welcome to the first day of our twerk challenge. As a professional dancer, choreographer, and teacher, I'm excited to teach you how to twerk like a pro. In this video, we'll be focusing on how to pop your booty. I'll guide you through the basics of the movement and show you how to add some rhythm to it. We'll start with a warm-up to some music in the studio, and then we'll dive into the technique. Throughout the video, I'll be demonstrating the moves and offering tips and tricks to help you master the technique. We'll also work on the classic twerk pose and I'll show you how to fix your upper level of spine to not involve it, and how to relax your pelvis. By the end of the video, you'll have learned how to pop your booty smoothly and effectively to the beat.
