After using this tripod for about 10 months I thought I'd post an update. In short, this tripod is a keeper. I always approach a product that is not from one of the main manufacturers with a grain of salt, I have had some that were, well, you get what you paid for. Happily, the Artcise AS80C is not that and is a real contender with the big boy tripod makers. With solid stability, lightweight, and a price at almost half of what a comparable tripod costs, this is a win.
