You can make a Century do WHAT??!! 😱 Back in 2007, the Toyota Nationals was in it's 31st year. Some of the finest and most highly modified Australian Toyota's, both local and imported, stock and tuned alike, were on show at Dubbo in NSW for the Easter long weekend. A massive thanks to the Toyota Nationals organisers who do a great job of hosting the event each year, and a special kudos to Ilija Bendev for creating this DVD; the battle between the MR2 and the Century being a single excerpt from the whole movie, and was only a taste of the whole day's Toyota goodness. Thanks also to Josh (MR2 owner) and Norbie (Century owner) for giving us a fine spectacle. Norbie in particular wanted to get a burnout from his machine (among many others who were constantly on him about it) but he had no idea if the Century's 3 ECU's controlling the V12 engine would allow him to defeat the stock traction control. We would soon find out what was more powerful down a 1/8th-mile airport runway - a turbocharged and very modified 3S-powered AW11 (Josh calls it the SW11 because of the engine designation), or a stock-as-a-rock GZG50 V12-powered Century, undoubtedly the most comfortable drag racer in history.
