Here is a complete video of what the 6.4L Hemi Ram sounds like with the stock exhaust and then a Magnaflow muffler. The rear resonator is left on. I might remove the rear can later on, but I really like how the truck sounds now. NOTE: If you do this mod, I found it much easier to just pull the tailpipe back vs trying to remove it from the rubber hanger. It slid off the muffler without any issues. Trying to pry the resonator off the rubber hanger was a nightmare. Doing what I did below worked perfectly! (If a video if this is needed, let me know.) 1) Loosen the exhaust clamps. 2) Climb under the spare tire facing the front of the truck. 3) Carefully place both feet on the back of the axle housing. 4) With both hands, pull on the resonator towards you (to the back of the truck). 5) A small pop will be felt, but the exhaust tube will come free from the stock muffler at this time, allowing the stock muffler to be removed. If you have a subwoofer, turn it on/up to hear the difference between the stock muffler and the Magnaflow muffler. Here is the link to the muffler used above (DOD250035). This will fit the 2014-2016 Ram 2500 with the 6.4L: https://www.mufflex-performance.com/d... Filmed on a GoPro Hero 3 White (1080/30p) EDIT: -There is a slight drone in 6th gear (3.73) at ~1500 RPM. Once you get to about 2000 RPM, it goes away. Past 3000 RPM, you can really hear the 6.4L! -MDS can be heard. If this is annoying MDS can be disabled by setting the drive into manual (just put into 6th gear and MDS will not turn on). -No throttle lag anywhere that I can tell. -First empty highway trip with the new pipe netted +2.1 MPG! (Will keep an eye on this to make sure it was not a fluke.) EDIT 2 (8/8/2016): -I honestly do not notice the drone at 2K anymore. Either the muffler has broken in, or I'm just that use to it now. -I would never go back to the stock exhaust. Such a nice tone with this pipe. After the engine is at temp, the purr at idle is nice!
