In this video we look at one technique for more advanced filtering when using Supabase. Unfortunately out of the box filtering for #Supabase in #FlutterFlow is limited and this video we use a direct API approach to return the data we need. Specially we are covering how to retrieve data from our database based on a text query within FlutterFlow. We gradually build this up to use more than one filter to overload our search box to also search within another database column. We additionally handle non-case sensitive queries to increase the chance of returning results. Finally I also cover restricting the number of rows returned. The video will really help you use this technique and customise it further for use in your own specific projects. This example then sets ourselves up nicely for an upcoming video which covers the implementation of Infinite Scrolling using Supabase. Look out for this video soon!
