In this video I show you how to find the most famous glitch Pokémon: Missingno. on Pokémon Red Version. It should also work on Pokémon Blue Version. Warning: DO NOT SAVE YOUR GAME AFTER DOING THIS. Okay, first step: fly from wherever you are to Viridian City. Talk to that old man who taught you how to catch Pokémon, and take that lesson again. After that, fly to Cinnabar Island and Surf along the East coast and the East coast only. As you can see, I've found two odd Lv. 80 Golduck. Missingno. appears at Lv. 146, but it may also appear at other level. Also, it may have another type of cry. Normally, Missingno.'s cry is a Nidoran♂'s voice with a pitch of 0 and no echo. I have already found a level 80 Missingno. with some sort of Dragonair-like cry. When you catch it and view its stats page, you can see that its cry changes to that of a Rhydon. Its type is Bird/Normal; the Bird type never existed and was never created. It is (legally) impossible to make any Pokémon go over Lv. 100, so, if Missingno. gets any Exp. from any battle, it will "grow" from Lv. 146 to Lv. 100. I've also checked the effects of this Pokémon in the game. It makes the trainer's sprite become reversed and all glitchy looking. Attacking the opponent makes its sprite become glitchy as well. When in battle, it will increase your item numbers in 6th slot to 255 if caught, or to 128 if not caught (not explored in the video). But besides this, Missingno. will completely corrupt your Hall of Fame data (if stats are viewed) until the stats of a normal Pokémon are viewed. Once again, DON'T SAVE YOUR GAME AFTER FINDING MISSINGNO.! I haven't tried it myself because it may corrupt the save data. Note: it is also possible you'll find 'M (another Glitch Pokémon) instead of Missingno. using this technic. I didn't use any cheat codes to find this glitch.
