BIOGRAPHY Father Ray Kelly Raymond Kelly was born on April 25, 1953 and is an Irish Catholic priest and was ordained in 1989 as a priest and began his vocation, currently at St. Brigid′s & St. Mary′s parish at Oldcastle, County Meath in Ireland and a member of Saint Patrick’s Society for the Foreign Missions. Father Ray Kelly began singing at a young age and is currently known for his interpretation of popular songs. He became famous in 2014 after a video of him singing a cover of Leonard cohen’s song “Hallelujah” (modified to suit the occasion by 10-year-old bridesmaid Lucy Pitts O'Connor), while officiating at Leah & Chris O’Cane’s wedding and Ray became a YouTube sensation, the video now is at 85M views as of July 9, 2022 @ 02:16 PM Eastern Daylight Time. In December 2014, Universal music released a 10-track album Where I Belong of Kelly singing Celtic-inspired arrangements. The album was recorded during summer 2014 in a studio created for the purpose in Kelly's house, so that the recording schedule would not interfere with his duties as a priest.
