Buy my music! http://familyjules7x.bandcamp.com/ https://loudr.fm/artist/familyjules7x... I have strange memories of Street Fighter. The nostalgia I get from it stems back to simply always just being god awful at beat-em-up games and getting my ass kicked over and over again. I kept coming back to it though because it was always just so damn fun. I always played as Ryu, but honestly this theme wasn't my favorite from the soundtrack. The goal with this cover was to try and twist it into a way that maybe I would have liked it as a kid. Pretty much run of the mill arrangmentwise, solo, embellished repeats, all that jazz. I've never really tried adding sound clips in my covers, but I felt like if I didn't add that Hadoken it just wouldn't be the same. Hope it didn't take too much away from the song in the end. :/ I just wanna warn you guys that I'm going to be going through some very experimental tone changes for a bit while I still learn the ropes of my new Pod HD Pro. Still don't have as good a grasp on it as I do my X3, but already I'm seeing way better quality. I'm playing with different amp models for the leads, last week being the ENGL-y model, this week trying the Mesa one. I was not really a fan of the Rhythm tone this week for some reason even though I didn't change anything from last week minus a lot of post EQ since it was really fizzy. Oh well, like I said, bear with me as I figure this doohickey out. Hope you guys still enjoy it though! Next week I've got another Pokémon cover since it's been a while. See you then!
