Few recordings survive in the public domain and the ones that do are of varying quality, but a dedicated group of collectors continue to seek out the best quality recordings from around the world. Luckily, one of those collectors regularly keeps me updated with the latest finds. The April 1966 episode is sourced from a Transcription Disc. The December 1966 and December 1967 episodes are off-air recordings sourced from New Zealand. London Folk Song Cellar was presented by Robin Hall and Jimmie MacGregor.
