I turn a dark, dirty, dingy and depressing 1 car garage into a bright and functional studio! I'm a mixed media textile artist passionate about working with fabric. I dye it with bright colorful colors, indigo and rust. I also screen print on it with paints and dyes. Then I quilt it with fun patterns. My other passion is learning new things everyday. My objective for this channel to share what I learn in the hopes that it will inspire my viewers to keep learning something new everyday and to share it with others. My husband and I recently moved from FL to KY to be closer to our daughter and grandson. Our daughter is a single soldier and over the last 10 years we have traveled back and forth taking care of the kid when she deploys, goes on temporary duty or has field training exercises. We are currently renting a house on the army post and I am using the 1 car garage as my studio.
