Star Wars Battlefront II Mods (PC) HD: Dagobah: Abandoned Venator | Ultimate Commander

In this video I'm going to be playing through the demo of Allumette, CT-108 and CdtFox's upcoming Battlefront: Ultimate Commander mod. Summary: Battlefront: Ultimate Commander is an upcoming total conversion mod which adds multiple new eras including Clone Wars, GCW and Old Republic content. The mod also aims to add new game modes, units, maps and visual and sound FX. In this open beta, only the 'Imperial Civil War' era is available alongside five new maps including 3 from Marvel4's Conversion Pack. One of these new maps is Dagobah: Abandoned Venator, a map exclusive to this mod made by CT-108. The map is based around the concept of a crashed Republic Venator Star Destroyer in the swamps of Dagobah, with both sides contesting to take control of the Destroyer and the surrounding swamps. The map layout is great, with plenty of cover complementing the enhanced weapon damage - this encourages a lot more tactical play and definitely ramps up the difficult. The new weapon and unit models look fantastic and are topped off with some A grade textures. To round all of that off, the new weapon and ability VFX and SFX are fantastic and really give a unique feel to this project. As well as the new units, there are also some new heroes available, with Lord Starkiller for the Empire and Rahm Kota for the Rebellion - both complete with new abilities. I did notice some new VO for the heroes, but it doesn't seem to match up with the characters (Kota seems to have Ben Kenobi's voice?). All in all, this a fantastic start to this project and there is a ton of content here even though this is only a demo release. Go check it out!
