Taken last August at the end before the warm start to September. Grass was destined for round haylage but with the 30 degree heat it got made into 2nd cut small bale hay, all of which has since been sold with no problems. Farms outfit tedding the grass with their John Deere 6830 and using their new McHale PROPEL M6-770 tedder, a very good machine and can certainly fling the grass quite a distance, equipped with headland management cover to stop grass being flung into the hedge.
