MS ధోని బయోగ్రఫీ | MS Dhoni Biography | MS Dhoni Real Story Mahendra Singh Dhoni, popularly known as MS Dhoni, is a former Indian cricketer and captain who is considered one of the greatest Indian cricketers of all time. He was born on July 7, 1981, in Ranchi, Jharkhand, India. Dhoni's cricket journey began at the age of 18 when he was selected for the Bihar cricket team. He made his debut for the Indian cricket team in December 2004 in a One Day International (ODI) against Bangladesh. He made an immediate impact with his aggressive batting style and excellent wicket-keeping skills. In 2007, Dhoni was appointed the captain of the Indian cricket team for the first time. Under his leadership, India won the inaugural World Twenty20 in South Africa in 2007, and then the 2011 ICC Cricket World Cup, which was held in India. Dhoni played a crucial role in the final of the 2011 World Cup, scoring an unbeaten 91 and hitting the winning six. Dhoni also led India to victory in the 2013 ICC Champions Trophy in England, making him the only captain to have won all three major ICC trophies. Apart from his captaincy, Dhoni was known for his explosive batting in the middle order and his excellent wicket-keeping skills. He is considered one of the best finishers in limited-overs cricket and has won many matches for India with his batting. Dhoni retired from Test cricket in 2014, and then from international cricket in August 2020, after a career that spanned over 16 years. He continues to play in the Indian Premier League (IPL) for the Chennai Super Kings, a team he has led to three IPL titles. Off the field, Dhoni is known for his calm and composed demeanor, and has been a role model for many young cricketers. He is also involved in various business ventures and has been associated with several social causes.
