An Album That Shouldn't Exist | Memoryfest 2023

I've spent my time in the Caretaker community making mostly tracks for albums that never came to life, either because the team behind the project got demotivated, or just because I didn't feel confident enough to release them. I've gathered all the tracks I could and mashed them beyond repair with many new additions to serve both as a remaster of 2022's disaster of a set that was "Time Flows as It Should", as well as to give a profound message on the passing and distortion of time without concentrating on neurological diseases such as Alzheimer's or CJD. I've been working on this for a long time now and if there was no deadline, I'm pretty sure this would've never been released. I was obsessed with making this as clean as possible so I would never regret making it in the future, but I think that's just an impossible goal. No matter how much you think you've peaked, you'll always make embarrassing stuff. But I guess it just shows how much you're improving over time. That's why I don't think this album should exist in the first place, but that's ok.
