The team from Koi Water Barn UK & Dubai travelled to Tokyo Japan at the end of January to attend the annual All Japan Koi Show. In this video you will see the winners from each variety category and we will give you our assessment of each one. In 2006, Tony Pitham, owner of Koi Water Barn, was the first non-Japanese koi dealer to supply the winning koi for his 2 English customers. The Yamato, an immaculate kohaku from Sakai Fish Farm, was crowned Grand Champion that year, and this opened the door for more international hobbyists to become real players and subsequently win at this now truly international show.
