How To Repair Graphics Card (Oven Baking Edition)

IMPORTANT UPDATE / WARNING: With newer gen GPU's (ones that came a generation or two after this series) it's advised that you put them in an upright position. It's been over 6 years ago since I did this video, plus the GPU's itself was already old to begin with back then, so in the meantime, the ways of production have changed as well as the type of capacitors (and probably solder and solder melting temperature), which is why I'm from time to time getting some feedback from people where their GPU capacitors feel off. With that said, If you have a newer GPU, trying putting it in an upright position, maybe even lower down the temperature a bit. Since it didn't try this again in the meantime, I can't tell you for sure what is going to and if it's going to work, it's best for you to hand it over to a professional so he can reball the solders. Mmm what's that smell? Roasted GTS 8800? Sure, I'll have a bite! Check out our pretty much "how to" repair guide video for practically any type graphics cards, especially if you warranty is over and you have nothing to lose! P.S. DON'T DO IT IF YOU STILL HAVE A VALID WARRANTY!! DISCLAIMER - I will not responsible for the possible damage that you may inflict to your hardware by doing this (although there's nothing to damage since it's already broken). UPDATE - as reported by others, avoid putting the graphics card in an upside down position like I did in the video, as capacitors can fall of due to melting solder.
