Riffer 3 is without doubt one of the best - probably THE best - midi sequencer for iOS / desktop of 2020. The iOS version is a universal app so works on iPhone as well as iPad. Although the app has been out for a while, the new version has really significant new features. In this video I will look at what’s new, focusing on the new polyphonic capabilities, the ‘density’ function (‘ratcheting’) and the wonderful midi input options, especially good for live performance. I go through all the features of the app in detail, so if you watch all this you probably won’t need to read the manual.
