Clark County Recorder Debbie Conway Explains Safety Benefits of New Document Notification System

The Clark County Recorder’s Office now offers document filing notifications to the public via the Record Notification Service (RNS). RNS is a subscriber-driven tool/service. After completing a few simple steps, subscribers will be enrolled to receive an email notification whenever a document is recorded on a monitored name and/or parcel number that raises a concern, i.e. a mechanics lien or an IRS tax lien. Subscribers can quickly search on the Recorder’s Office website, https://recorderecomm.clarkcountynv.g..., and order a copy of the document that was recorded. The 24-hour service will allow anyoen who subscribes to respond in real-time when documents are recorded on his/her property that require immediate attention. The RNS system also can be used as a monitoring mechanism to keep track of the filings of legitimate documents such as a property closing or a refinance, or even when a homeowner finishes paying off their mortgage.
