It is always a special experience for me to come to this place.But first there is a visit to an old friend who has lived here for years. Good conversations around the campfire with a cold beer and delicious food cooked over an open fire in his wild garden. I am really looking forward to it. How I have it missing, friends.My friend has been working for the Nature Park for over 25 years and I know few people who are as connected to the Nature Park as he is.As always, with good tips from him, I make my way to my recording location, a wetland area with ponds, a forest lake and swamp areas.This forest lake which the locals call "Hell Lake" and the area around is one of the most beautiful, diverse habitats here in the Highlands of the Nature Park. A natural area with such a variety of species is very rare and therefore particularly worthy of protection.In recent years, various wet biotopes have been created here, expanding the area with other important habitats, which are also urgently needed!The water habitat decreases year by year, due to the hot and dry summer without rain but also the lack of snow and meltwater in winter.That is why these additional areas are so important for the Nature Park.
