(English below) Una hora de gameplay del remake de Riven, estrenado hace poco. Se trata de un completo remake del juego de 1997, el cual era secuela del mítico Myst. El juego original se jugaba mediante "pase de diapositivas", es decir, era a base de imágenes prerenderizadas. Este remake convierte los gráficos al 3D conservando el look original del juego, con el motor de Unreal. Además, permite jugarse en realidad virtual. Tengo que "desempolvar" mis Oculus Rift S y probarlo... Lo juego a 4K con los gráficos al máximo con una RTX 4090. Hay partes del vídeo que se ven a 30 fps, es cosa de la grabación (no sé si algún día descubriré por qué ocurre esto). Lo que sí que no es de la grabación es el stuttering y tirones bastante notorios que tiene el juego, cosa habitual por desgracia del Unreal engine. Además, hay popping de texturas. Yo no jugué demasiado al juego original, pero por lo que recuerdo, además de los gráficos, hay cambios en el juego en sí, por lo menos cosas cambiadas de lugar. ------------------ One hour of gameplay of the recently released remake of Riven. What is not from the recording is the stuttering and quite noticeable jerks that the game has, something usual unfortunately of the Unreal engine. In addition, there is texture popping. I didn't play too much of the original game, but from what I remember, besides the graphics, there are changes in the game itself, at least things changed places.
