Why is Candace so hellbent on busting Phineas and Ferb? What's the reason for her disturbing and undying obsession? Candace is one of the most memorable and well-developed characters in the show but, undeniably, the most controversial too. Her antagonistic nature brought many to think she's just a selfish and obnoxious teenage girl in desperate need of a life, but if you look a little deeper into it, you might find her quite relatable and realize her behavior is more than justified. Why? Because, whether you like it or not, Candace has always been in the right. So in this Video Essay I'd like to analyze Candace's character and work out why she believes Phineas and Ferb deserve to get busted, essentially rethinking the whole show in a brand new light: from Candace’s point of view.
