Extracting a little more power and response from you Daihatsu DL Turbo engine is relatively simple and can be done in a matter of minutes. However increasing the fueling of your injector pump will raise exhaust gas temperatures, increase boost and create more soot from your exhaust. There is the potential for serious engine damage to occur. If you don't understand how these tweaks are affecting your fueling or are not confident making these adjustments yourself, you should seek the help of a professional diesel tuner. Before attempting these tweaks you should have an EGT/pyro gauge fitted at the minimum. A boost gauge and intercooler are also highly recommended. You should have a way of shutting down your engine via blocking the air intake should the engine go into "runaway" while adjusting the max fuel screw. Every pump/engine is different so the degree to which you adjust the starwheel and max fuel screw to find the sweet spot may vary from the demonstration here.
