Tony Award nominee John Tartaglia, a "Sesame Street" puppeteer, visited the Skylight Music Theatre in Milwaukee to work with "Avenue Q" cast members. With its puppet characters, lively music and songs, "Avenue Q" is theatrical fusion cuisine for people who grew up on "Sesame Street": nostalgia mixed with adult humor. Just as they do on "Sesame Street," puppets mingle as equals with humans in the shared reality of "Avenue Q," which features twentysomethings trying to find work, love and a purpose in a low-rent outer borough.
