Atlantic Slab/Ridge Grade 3 Scramble in Snowdonia

I filmed this on my new Insta 360 X4 camera - https://amzn.to/4citbre This is Atlantic Slab (aka Atlantic Ridge) located on the quiet side of Ogwen, and I'm tackling the grade 3 scrambling route that is the easiest of several lines here. The slab was once on the seabed and is now home to plenty of fossils that can be easily seen. The distinctive ripple on the surface of the slab was formed from the movement of the seawater and is unique to the area. The route starts at the toe of the slab and follows a line never more than 5 metres from the right edge of the slab. The route is long at well over 300 metres and unforgiving; there's nothing to break your fall should you slip and many will choose to rope up here. I did find plenty of vegetation on the route but most of it can be avoided and what can't didn't interfere with the scrambling. Atlantic Slab is only a short distance from the summit of Carnedd y Filliast and nearby scrambles are Needles Eye Arete, South Arete and Yr Esgair.
